Chainguard is venture-backed by leading investors, including Amplify, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mantis VC, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital.

THE ROLE, IN A NUTSHELL:

As a Senior Partner Manager on our Technology Partnerships team, you will own the Chainguard integrations program: how we evaluate, scope, certify, and maintain integrations, and how we prioritize them against customer demand and company strategy. You will drive that work across partner engineering, Product, and a dedicated Solutions Engineer, and you will be the person partners work with from first conversation through launch.

This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Alliances.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the technology partner integrations program, including the standards for how integrations are evaluated, scoped, certified, and maintained
  • Own the integration roadmap and prioritize it against customer demand, technical feasibility, and company strategy
  • Run the program end to end: partner intake, qualification, scoping, agreements, build coordination, certification, launch, and ongoing lifecycle
  • Drive integrations to completion across partner engineering, Chainguard Product, and Solutions Engineering
  • Own the partner relationship on the integration side, including joint reviews and accountability to committed timelines
  • Work with Legal on partner agreements and the terms that govern partner access to Chainguard data
  • Track the health of the integration portfolio and escalate what is stalled or degraded
  • Bring partner requirements back to Product with the context needed to inform the roadmap
  • Coordinate integration launches with Alliances, Product Marketing, and the field

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6+ years in technology partnerships, partner management, integration program management, or partner solutions
  • Technical enough to scope an integration and evaluate a partner’s proposed design. This role does not build or test, but you should not depend on others to know where a program stands
  • Working knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and cloud native infrastructure
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tooling and how scanners work
  • Program management experience. You have taken ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work and given it a process and an owner
  • Experience with partner agreements and commercial terms alongside Legal
  • Experience in a technology partner ecosystem, and an understanding of how ISVs decide where to invest
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

BONUS EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience at a security vendor building a scanner, CNAPP, or vulnerability management product
  • Experience building a partner certification or technical partner program
  • Familiarity with coordinated vulnerability disclosure

  • We have a bias for intentional action — We prioritize, plan, try things, and fail fast.
  • We don’t take ourselves too seriously (but we do serious work) — We are solving an important problem which takes focus, but we also like to enjoy the journey.
  • We trust each other and assume good intentions — We’re transparent with decisions to empower team members to make well informed decisions.

A few of the benefits we offer:

  • Flexible & Remote-First Culture: Work remotely with team meetup opportunities, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, phone and internet costs.
  • Our Approach to Equity: Receive stock options upon hire and promotion. Plus, you can participate in secondary offerings and have 10 years to exercise your options (yes, you read that correctly: 10 years!).
  • 100% Covered Health Insurance: We cover 100% of your health, vision and dental insurance premiums for you and your dependents. Nothing comes out of your paycheck.
  • ∞ Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need – to do our best work, we need to recharge and reset.

Sales Senior Customer Engineer, Named - LA at Cloudflare

Senior Customer Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor managing enterprise customer relationships from discovery through adoption, leveraging AI workflows to drive architectural solutions and business outcomes.

Senior Onsite Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Us

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a “normalized” problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

Available Location: Los Angeles, CA

About the Role

At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. As the architectural complexity of enterprise solutions scales, we are evolving how we partner with our customers. The Customer Engineer (CE) represents the core driver of our technical go-to-market strategy: a trusted advisor who owns the technical relationship from the initial discovery phase through to long-term adoption and ongoing account expansion.

Sitting within the GTM organization and reporting to the Regional Customer Engineering Leader, you will not hand off your customers once an initial agreement is reached. Instead, you will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, utilizing AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil so you can focus on high-value architectural design and driving measurable business outcomes across the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: Partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) across Cloudflare’s portfolio (Security, Networking and Developer Platforms).
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Lead and/or provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation, serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for the customer. You will partner with Account Executives to own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy. You will proactively monitor dynamic customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value and resolve integration bottlenecks.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth. You will be commercially accountable for ensuring deep platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data. Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-level executives.
  • Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, maintaining a continuous, deep relationship with key stakeholders from initial onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Act as an “AI-Augmented” engineer. Leverage AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks such as RFP/Security Questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and basic telemetry monitoring, reclaiming your time for strategic customer advisory.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or as a Forward Deployed Engineer (years of experience required will vary based on Associate, Senior, Staff, or Principal leveling).
  • Technical Acumen: Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
  • Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between deep technical implementation details and high-level C-suite business strategy.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications (The “Good-to-Haves”)

  • Cloudflare AI Stack Experience: Hands-on experience building, deploying, or architecting solutions using Cloudflare’s developer platform and AI ecosystem, specifically Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
  • Applied AI Knowledge: Experience with prompt engineering, Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
  • Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages to write custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.

Compensation

This role features a competitive base salary and a variable commission structure tied directly to the successful execution of full-lifecycle commercial targets, including new business acquisition, ongoing adoption milestones, and overall account expansion.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan.

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within your territory to increase Druva’s market share
  • Improve NRR with existing customers, ensuring ROI validation and expansion into these accounts with a high platform adoption rate.
  • Use MEDDPICC to track deal progress, highlight risks/opportunities, and align internal resources to close deals
  • Deliver engaging, tailored product demos both virtually and onsite that resonate with mid-market IT buyers
  • Convert prospects by confidently communicating Druva’s unique competitive advantages and value.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to develop customized account strategies and technical solutions
  • Work closely with channel partners to generate incremental revenue and expand market reach
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecast reporting, and actively participate in Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with company goals
  • Stay informed on Druva’s competitive positioning and market trends to keep your sales approach sharp
  • Consistently meet or exceed your assigned revenue targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in Enterprise Software, Backup, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, or SaaS environments
  • Someone who understands Cloud/SaaS/Security and is a fast learner
  • Demonstrated hunger and ability to challenge prospects and internal teams constructively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to overcoming objections and barriers
  • Comfortable navigating complex buying environments and engaging multiple IT stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of backup and data protection solutions; security experience is a plus
  • Experience working with channel partners and managing territory accounts

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

Innovation is how we operate, not a side project. You’ll work in a culture that values bold thinking and continuous improvement, where global teams experiment, iterate, and turn new ideas into products customers can rely on.

Sales Strategic Account Executive, Expansion & Renewals at Algolia

Manages a strategic portfolio of 60+ enterprise accounts, leading renewals, contract negotiations, and expansion opportunities while coordinating cross-functional processes.

Senior Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Algolia, we’re proud to be a pioneer and market leader in AI Search, empowering 18,000+ businesses to deliver blazing-fast, predictive search and browse experiences at internet scale. Every week, we power over 30 billion search requests — four times more than Microsoft Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo combined.

In 2021, we raised $150 million in Series D funding, quadrupling our valuation to $2.25 billion. This strong foundation enables us to keep investing in our market-leading platform and serving incredible customers like Under Armour, PetSmart, Stripe, Gymshark, and Walgreens.

As an Algolia Strategic Account Manager, you will play a strategic and high-impact role, managing a large book of business across some of the most complex and innovative companies in the world. This role demands someone who can navigate complex contract negotiations and renewals in parallel, stay organized under pressure, and navigate internal processes efficiently, while also identifying and growing expansion opportunities within your accounts.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment, operates with autonomy, and brings a consultative approach to growing customer relationships.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF:

  • Own a portfolio of approximately 60 strategic, named accounts.
  • Lead all commercial conversations including contract negotiations, renewals, and expansion opportunities. You are the primary owner of renewal discussions and account strategy.
  • Proactively manage account health by monitoring usage signals, identifying risks early, and developing risk mitigation strategies. Work with CSMs and Solutions Engineers to assess account trajectory and flag concerns.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across customer divisions and business units through deep understanding of their business objectives and organizational structure.
  • Navigate internal cross-functional processes (legal, finance, deal desk) efficiently to keep contracts and renewals moving.
  • Collaborate with our Strategic New Business AE on expansion deals in an overlay structure while owning all renewal business for your accounts.
  • Build repeatable, scalable processes and playbooks in an ambiguous environment, operating independently and shaping sales motions as you go.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales or account management with direct ownership of renewals and expansion
  • 3+ years managing and closing multi-million dollar deals
  • Proven ability to negotiate commercial contracts with customers and internal stakeholders (legal, finance, deal desk)
  • Experience selling SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products. You grasp how APIs work at a conceptual level.
  • Conceptual fluency with the AI landscape. Discomfort with AI is a dealbreaker.
  • Success in complex, consultative enterprise sales with matrixed decision-making structures
  • Highly organized with systems to track large concurrent pipelines of renewals and expansions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with CSMs, Solutions Engineers, and internal teams
  • Background in startup or high-growth environments. You navigate ambiguity without needing detailed direction.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Direct sales experience with search, commerce, eCommerce, or technical products sold to technical buyers
  • Background selling usage-based or consumption-based SaaS
  • Experience at system integrators in the search space
  • Track record breaking into divisions or subsidiaries within existing accounts

IN PRACTICE, THIS LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE WHO:

  • Maintains discipline across dozens of concurrent renewals and expansions. Nothing slips.
  • Does research before every conversation. Your questions start with “I noticed…” or “I saw in my research…” and are specific enough that only Algolia could answer them.
  • Ramps quickly on complex technical products and understands how modern web and AI-native platforms are built
  • Translates between business stakeholders (heads of eCommerce, merchandisers) and technical audiences (engineers, architects), adapting messaging appropriately
  • Thrives in ambiguity. You build processes and approaches as you go, then document and refine them for the team.
  • Has successfully turned around at-risk renewals through stakeholder management and strategic problem-solving
  • Thinks like an owner. You see your book of business as yours to build and protect.
