Data Analytics Senior Director, Health Economics & Actuarial Analytics at Foodsmart

Senior leader develops health economics models and actuarial analyses to demonstrate clinical outcomes and cost savings for healthcare payers and members.

Lead Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Foodsmart:

Foodsmart is the leading Foodcare platform in the U.S., built to deliver nutrition-driven healthcare at scale. Powered by a national network of Registered Dietitians, Foodsmart combines personalized clinical nutrition care, behavior change tools, and food benefits to improve member health outcomes while lowering healthcare costs.

Our platform is designed to foster healthier food choices, drive lasting behavior change, and deliver sustainable health outcomes. Through our highly personalized, digital platform, we guide more than 3 million members—including those in employer-sponsored health plans, regional and national Medicaid managed care organizations, Medicare Advantage plans, and commercial insurers—on a tailored journey to eating well while saving time and money.

Foodsmart seamlessly integrates dietary assessments and nutrition counseling with online food ordering and cost-effective meal planning for the entire family, optimizing ingredients both at home and on the go. We partner with national and regional retailers across the U.S., many of whom accept SNAP/EBT, making healthier food more accessible. Additionally, we assist members with SNAP enrollment and management, providing tangible access to nutritious food. In 2024, Foodsmart secured a $200 million investment from TPG’s Rise Fund, which supports entrepreneurs dedicated to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. This investment helps us expand our reach, particularly to low-income workers who are disproportionately affected by diet-related diseases.

At Foodsmart, our mission is to make nutritious food accessible and affordable for everyone, regardless of economic status. We are committed to a set of core values that shape our culture and work environment:

👥 Customer First - You start with the member and work backwards.

🚀 Make It Happen - You act with urgency, use data, and hold high standards.

🤝 One Team - You collaborate with respect and commit as a group.

Whether you’re a dietitian, a commercial leader, or a technologist, working at Foodsmart means being part of a team that is passionate, supportive, and driven by a shared purpose. Join us in transforming the way people access and enjoy healthy food.

About the Role:

Foodsmart’s value proposition rests on a claim: we improve outcomes for the members who need it most, and we save payers real money doing it. We’re looking for a Senior Director of Health Economics & Actuarial Analytics who can make that claim airtight, rigorous enough to hold up when a payer’s own actuarial team pressure tests it.

This role owns the full chain from clinical improvement to economic value. It starts with measuring what actually changed for a client’s members: weight loss, A1c improvement, blood pressure control, HEDIS performance. It ends with quantifying what that improvement is worth and defending that number in front of the people writing the check.

You’ll also help shape our value-based care strategy, including which populations we should be targeting and what performance we can credibly commit to.

Health economists and actuaries approach these problems differently, and either can be excellent here. What matters is the standard you hold yourself to. Our numbers get validated by payers’ own actuarial teams, which means the work has to be built the way they would build it, with their assumptions about trend, credibility, and risk adjustment.

This is our most senior data science leadership role, reporting directly to the VP of Analytics & Data Science. You’ll lead a small team while staying deeply hands-on with the methodology yourself, and you’ll be expected to use AI as a genuine force multiplier, to move faster, go deeper, and extend your reach well beyond what the headcount alone would suggest. You’ll also be a partner on our peer-reviewed research work, which we pursue with academic collaborators and our founder and Chief Science Officer.

The strongest candidates will have done this inside a telehealth or digital health company, or will have built their foundation on the payer or consulting side and then moved into digital health. What matters most is that you have proven value to payers before, repeatedly, and know what it takes for those numbers to be believed.

You will:

  • Own how we measure clinical outcomes across client member populations: weight loss, A1c, blood pressure, food insecurity, HEDIS measures, and the quality metrics our clients hold us to.
  • Own Foodsmart’s ROI methodology: translating those clinical outcomes into economic value, and identifying which member populations we help the most.
  • Represent that methodology directly to payers and external actuarial and consulting firms, defending our approach under real technical scrutiny rather than just presenting a final number.
  • Own the analytical substance of the value story we tell individual clients, grounded in their own members’ outcomes rather than generic benchmarks.
  • Help shape our value-based care strategy, including which member populations to target and what performance we can credibly stand behind.
  • Build our outcomes and ROI methodology as a scalable system, one that extends to new populations and new client conversations without being rebuilt from scratch each time.
  • Partner on peer-reviewed research with academic collaborators
  • Work with our clinical team to translate findings and best practices into how care is actually delivered.
  • Lead and develop a small team while staying hands-on, and lean on AI and other tooling to extend how much ground you and your team can cover.

You are:

  • Rigorous in the way a payer’s actuarial team is rigorous. You reason about cost, utilization, risk, and credibility with real discipline, and you know where a methodology is most likely to be attacked.
  • Fluent in both clinical quality measurement and economic value, and comfortable moving between the two. You can look at a change in A1c across a population and know how to turn it into a number a payer will accept.
  • Comfortable being the technical counterpart to a payer’s own actuaries and consultants: unintimidated by scrutiny, and able to defend methodology choices in real time.
  • Seasoned. You have proven value to payers repeatedly, and you are not learning ROI methodology on the job.
  • A systems builder who thinks in terms of scale: a repeatable methodology, not a one-off analysis redone for every new client or payer.
  • Able to translate technical findings into how care actually gets delivered, working alongside clinical and care delivery teams.
  • Someone who treats AI as a genuine lever on your own impact. You actively look for ways to use it to work faster and go deeper, and you have a point of view on where it helps and where rigor still demands a human.
  • Comfortable leading a small team while staying personally hands-on with the hardest analytical work yourself.

You have:

  • A background in health economics, actuarial science, or a closely related quantitative field, with a track record of applying it to healthcare cost and value questions. An advanced degree or actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, MAAA) are a plus but not required if you have equivalent hands-on depth.
  • Experience proving ROI and value inside a telehealth or digital health company, or a foundation on the payer or consulting side followed by time in digital health.
  • Hands-on experience measuring clinical outcomes and quality across populations, including familiarity with HEDIS and common chronic condition measures.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with healthcare claims data, both medical and pharmacy (Rx), including the practical realities of using it for cost and utilization analysis.
  • Deep expertise in causal inference as applied to healthcare cost and outcomes: matched cohort design, risk adjustment, and quasi-experimental methods.
  • Direct experience presenting and defending ROI methodology with payers, actuaries, or similarly technical external audiences.
  • Experience with value-based care arrangements and a point of view on what a provider or vendor can credibly commit to.
  • Peer-reviewed publication experience is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with clinical or care delivery teams to translate findings into practice.
  • Comfort working directly with data (SQL, R, or Python) to conduct your own analysis.
  • Familiarity with AI-native tooling (Claude Code, or equivalent) as a way to accelerate analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write for external, technical, and non-technical audiences alike.

Lead analytics strategy for key partnerships by identifying growth opportunities, designing experiments, and translating data insights into business decisions across product, finance, and partnerships teams.

Lead Posted about 23 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

The Risk & Analytics team makes crucial decisions that direct Affirm’s business strategy. Our team designs and runs experiments to decide which product features to launch and which marketing campaigns to fund. We analyze performance not just to report on it, but to determine where to invest resources for maximum impact through building tools and analytical frameworks. We take ownership of the entire analytical lifecycle, from initial question to final business decision, ensuring Affirm grows efficiently and intelligently.

The POS Analytics team helps Affirm make its most important growth and investment decisions. We identify opportunities to expand the reach of Affirm’s products, optimize the consumer and merchant experience, and direct resources toward the highest-value opportunities. We own analytics end to end—from goal setting and performance tracking to opportunity sizing, rigorous decision support, and experiment design and measurement. We translate insights into actions that help Affirm grow efficiently and sustainably.

The POS Analytics team is looking for an Analytics Lead, Full Stack to support our next phase of growth with major platform partners. In this role, you will drive the growth strategy for these partnerships, identify and size growth opportunities, shape product and investment decisions, and measure the impact of key initiatives. You will work closely with our Strategic Partnerships, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Pricing teams. You should combine exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a general manager mindset, strong cross-functional leadership, and deep knowledge of the lending and/or payments space.

What you’ll do

  • Own and prioritize the analytics portfolio for a significant product or business area, operating with a business owner mindset to define success, identify investment opportunities, recommend actions, and measure impact across customer experience, growth, risk, and profitability.
  • Lead complex analyses that balance growth, credit performance, customer experience, and unit economics.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear and compelling narratives and business cases that help leadership make informed decisions.
  • Tackle ambiguous problems by identifying the core hypotheses and designing actionable experiments to validate product-market fit and economic viability.
  • Lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue, building alignment around important decisions without formal authority.
  • Build scalable data models, metrics, dashboards, and AI-assisted analytical workflows that improve access to trusted insights while maintaining rigorous validation, reproducibility, and data governance.
  • Raise the impact of the analytics organization by mentoring analysts and developing reusable analytical practices and tools.

What we look for

  • A General Manager mindset, strong product and credit risk judgment, and a track record of proactively identifying high-impact opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer lending and credit industry, including lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics.  The strongest candidates will bring experience across both risk and product and understand the tradeoffs among growth, credit performance, customer experience, and profitability.
  • The ability to perform complex analyses and translate the results into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
  • 6 or more years of experience in a cross-functional analytical role, with demonstrated impact on significant product, risk, or business decisions.
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills, including statistical analysis, experimental design, and practical experience with A/B testing.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, with hands-on experience using AI-powered tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar assistants to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, enhance problem-solving, and advocate for AI adoption across analytical workflows.
  • The ability to independently prioritize a roadmap, manage multiple workstreams, and mentor other analysts.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field—or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree is a plus.

Data Analytics ZoomInfo Technologies LLC: Principal Business Intelligence Analyst

Owns PLG measurement framework and customer analytics systems, defining KPIs and leading investigations to shape product strategy and business outcomes across teams.

Lead Remote Posted 1 day ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote

ZoomInfo is where careers accelerate. We move fast, think boldly, and empower you to do the best work of your life. You’ll be surrounded by teammates who care deeply, challenge each other, and celebrate wins. With tools that amplify your impact and a culture that backs your ambition, you won’t just contribute. You’ll make things happen–fast.

Overview

We are seeking a Principal Product Analyst to own ZoomInfo's PLG measurement system - the framework that defines how the company evaluates customer adoption, monetization, retention, and growth across its product portfolio.

This is not a traditional reporting or dashboarding role. It is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining how the organization measures PLG success, identifying the behaviors that drive business outcomes, and generating the insights that shape product investments and growth strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical depth with operational rigor and a builder mentality. They are comfortable operating in ambiguity, leading investigations from scratch, and influencing decisions across Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market, and Leadership teams. They also embrace AI-native ways of working, leveraging automation and emerging technologies to fundamentally improve how analytics is performed and scaled. PLG experience is a plus but not required.

What You'll Do

Product Growth Measurement & Operating System

  • Define and own the measurement framework for ZoomInfo’s PLG motion, including acquisition, activation, engagement, monetization, retention, and expansion.
  • Establish the company’s source of truth for PLG performance, including KPI definitions, scorecards, executive reporting, and performance benchmarks.
  • Define leading indicators that predict customer activation, product adoption, conversion, retention, and expansion outcomes.
  • Ensure measurement consistency across products, teams, and business units, enabling a unified view of customer growth and product performance.
  • Develop scalable frameworks that connect customer behavior to business outcomes and investment decisions.

Customer Journey Analytics & Growth Diagnostics:

  • Own analytical understanding of the end-to-end customer journey, from acquisition and onboarding through monetization and long-term retention.
  • Identify behavioral patterns, friction points, and conversion barriers that impact activation, adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Develop customer segmentation frameworks that reveal differences in growth outcomes across personas, customer segments, and product experiences.
  • Lead investigations into significant changes in PLG performance, diagnosing root causes and quantifying business impact.
  • Identify the behaviors and product experiences most strongly associated with successful customer outcomes and long-term value creation.

Product Strategy & Growth Insights

  • Influence product investment and roadmap decisions by quantifying opportunity size, identifying high-leverage growth opportunities, and evaluating tradeoffs across competing initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Product, Growth, and GTM leadership on customer behavior trends, adoption patterns, and monetization opportunities.
  • Build analytical frameworks that help teams prioritize investments across onboarding, activation, engagement, monetization, retention, and expansion.
  • Define measurement strategies for major product initiatives and ensure business impact is accurately assessed.
  • Guide experimentation efforts across the PLG funnel, helping teams prioritize, evaluate, and scale growth opportunities.
  • Deliver executive-level insights that inform product strategy, growth planning, and resource allocation.

AI-Native Analytics & Operational Excellence

  • Redesign analytics workflows around AI-first operating principles rather than traditional manual processes.
  • Build automated systems that continuously monitor product performance, surface anomalies, and identify growth opportunities at scale.
  • Develop AI-assisted investigation workflows that accelerate root-cause analysis and reduce time-to-insight.
  • Establish scalable reporting and monitoring infrastructure that minimizes manual effort while maintaining analytical rigor.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging AI capabilities and incorporate them into the analytics operating model.
  • Improve self-service analytics capabilities while maintaining governance, consistency, and trust in data.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.
  • Align teams around a shared understanding of PLG performance, customer behavior, and growth priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from opportunity identification through execution, measurement, and business impact assessment.
  • Elevate analytical standards and foster a culture of data-informed decision making across the organization.

About You

  • You think in customer journeys, growth loops, and behavioral systems rather than isolated metrics.
  • You enjoy solving ambiguous business problems and creating structure where none exists.
  • You are naturally curious about why customers adopt, convert, expand, or churn.
  • You balance strategic thinking with hands-on analytical execution.
  • You are comfortable influencing senior stakeholders through data, storytelling, and business context.
  • You actively leverage AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or similar technologies to automate workflows, accelerate investigations, and improve analytical output.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Customer Analytics, Strategy, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead large-scale analytical initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Advanced SQL, Python skills and strong analytical foundations.
  • Experience conducting deep-dive analyses into customer behavior, product performance, and business outcomes.
  • Strong statistical and experimentation knowledge.
  • Experience translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions through data.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Experience building scalable reporting, monitoring, and operational processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Product-Led Growth or self-service SaaS organizations.
  • Experience with SaaS business models and customer lifecycle analytics.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve analytical workflows and operational efficiency.

Success in This Role Means

  • ZoomInfo has a clear and consistent framework for measuring PLG success across products and teams.
  • Product and business leaders understand the behavioral drivers of activation, adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Growth opportunities and performance risks are identified proactively rather than reactively.
  • Product investments are prioritized using measurable customer and business impact.
  • Analytics workflows scale efficiently through automation and AI-enabled processes.
  • Cross-functional teams view analytics as a strategic partner that shapes business decisions, not just a reporting function.

What this role involves

The Role

At Wpromote, we need someone who can own marketing measurement all the way from click to pipeline to revenue.

This role sits at the intersection of tracking, marketing operations, CRM, and analytics. You’ll make sure campaign data is captured correctly at the source, passed cleanly through our marketing and sales systems, and tied back to pipeline and revenue in a way the business can trust. That means knowing how front-end tracking works, how GTM and site instrumentation should be set up, how marketing automation and CRM systems ingest and sync data, and how to QA the full handoff from campaign to seller to opportunity to closed revenue.

This is not a reporting-only role. We need someone who can diagnose where measurement breaks, fix the root cause, and build the operating discipline to keep it working.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Marketing activity is reliably tied to pipeline and revenue
  • Campaign data is structured correctly from the start and remains consistent across systems
  • Sellers receive the right lead and campaign context
  • Marketing automation and CRM syncs are clean, documented, and auditable
  • Attribution disputes are resolved with evidence, not guesswork
  • Leadership trusts the numbers because the measurement foundation is strong

At Wpromote, we believe that great work is only possible with great people. Our goal is to build a better, more inclusive work environment and support our people at every stage of their careers by prioritizing a strong work-life balance through our policies and benefits listed below. As a Best Place to Work according to both Ad Age and Glassdoor and Adweek’s Fastest Growing Digital Agency, we are moving fast to expand our teams and bring new experts into the fold to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in marketing.

We offer:

-Remote-first culture

-Unlimited PTO

-Extended Holiday break (Winter)

-Flexible schedules

-Work from anywhere options*

-100% paid parental leave

-401(k) matching

-Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Pet Insurance

-Sponsored life insurance

-Short Term Disability insurance and additional voluntary insurance

-Annual Class Pass credits and more!

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $140,000 - $160,000 based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.

This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions

**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

Ethos is a leading life insurance technology company on a mission to protect families by democratizing access to life insurance and empowering agents at scale. With its robust three-sided technology platform, Ethos is transforming the life insurance experience for consumers, agents, and carriers alike. Ethos offers instant, accessible products and a seamless online process that requires no medical exams and just a few health questions; it eliminates traditional barriers, making it easier than ever for everyone to protect their families. Ethos is redefining how life insurance is bought, sold, and underwritten.

About the role

This is a senior and highly influential role built around judgment, strategic impact, and deep analytical craft. It starts with genuine understanding of our customers, our business, and the dynamics that drive growth. That understanding is your core asset. You use it to identify the highest-leverage questions, spot opportunities the business hasn’t seen yet, and show up in product and leadership conversations with clear recommendations that change what gets built.

The AI infrastructure we’ve built changes what’s possible for someone in this role. Mechanical analysis moves faster than ever. That frees you to operate at a higher level: training our systems on what good looks like, reviewing and sharpening their output, and bringing the judgment no model can replicate. We’re further along than most, but there’s no finished playbook for this yet. You’d be shaping it.

You go deep in analytics, experimentation, and growth. AI gives you the reach.

You’ll partner directly with product, design, engineering, and executive leadership to shape strategy across high-impact product lines. Nobody has fully cracked how AI transforms product analytics. We’re moving fast, the foundations are real, and there’s room to have massive impact from day one. If you want to be one of the people who shapes how this gets done, this is the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Insight that drives product decisions. You identify the highest-leverage questions, build the frameworks to answer them, and bring clear recommendations to product and leadership. PMs and executives make different decisions because you’re in the room.
  • Deep customer and business understanding. You build a rich model of how customers behave, what drives conversion and retention, and where growth opportunities live. That model shapes everything from long-term roadmap bets to the micro-decisions made in weekly product reviews.
  • Experimentation at portfolio scale. Own experiment strategy across your product areas: design, guardrails, interpretation, and the cross-experiment patterns that reveal the bigger picture no single test shows.
  • AI system quality and judgment. Our agents pull data, read configs, and produce draft analyses. You own the quality of that output: validating it, sharpening it, and training the system over time. Human judgment over AI judgment. Always.
  • Connecting dots no one else sees. You operate across product areas, experiments, and data sources: surfacing patterns, opportunity-sizing insights, and strategic bets that siloed analysis misses. You shift how leadership thinks about growth.
  • Raising the bar for the entire team. You set the standard for how AI and analytical rigor work together. When you find a better way to validate an experiment, pressure-test a metric, or get signal from AI faster: you make it the team’s new baseline.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years of product analytics experience in consumer-facing, high-growth environments
  • You don’t wait for a spec. You see the gap, frame the question, build the answer, and land the insight with the right audience. You move at 5x the speed of a traditional analyst: not by cutting corners, but by leveraging every tool available. When you solve a problem, you solve it for the team.
  • You’ve changed what gets built, not just reported on what shipped.
  • Deep expertise in experiment design, causal inference, and power analysis: combined with daily use of AI tools and a clear-eyed understanding of where they accelerate, where they hallucinate, and where human judgment is non-negotiable.
  • You can make an executive care about a p-value and a data engineer care about a business metric. You write clearly, present with conviction, and know when a Slack message beats a slide deck.
  • Comfortable across the modern analytics stack (Snowflake, dbt, Amplitude, Hex, Mode). Strong SQL foundations: not because you’ll write every query by hand, but because you need to reason through data logic, validate AI-generated output, and debug when something’s off.
